FatPet
A WordPress site for FatPet, a pet shop in Vinnytsia, Ukraine — product categories for cats, dogs, rodents and birds, contacts with a map, and a question form.
Overview
CONTEXTFatPet was a pet shop in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, selling food, accessories and care products for cats, dogs, rodents and birds. The design is by my friend Art Nigmatic, a UI/UX designer; I built the site from it on WordPress in August 2018: a home page that leads straight into four product categories, category pages with collapsible sections listing the brands and lines in stock, an About page, contacts with a map and opening hours on every page, and a pop-up form for questions.
Technical notes
DEPTHA custom WordPress theme written in PHP, with semantic HTML5 markup and a responsive layout — a 1140px grid on desktop down to a separate mobile layout at 480px. Hover states for the navigation, category tiles and buttons; collapsible category sections; a question form with reCAPTCHA; and a Google map with a link to directions.
Outcome
RESULTAn early project, kept in the archive. The screens here are Art Nigmatic's mock-ups the site was built from.
